Software Testing? It is neither a new concept in the world, or the solution to the companies problems, but it helps to reduce those inexcusably mistakes.

Companies invest thousands of dollars in applications which after implanting them, start to show programming errors. These ' small details ' can cost million of dollars and not just that but also loss of information, wrong invoicing or worse, problems in the continuity of the business.

That is why it is better to test, before it is too late. And that is what software testing does, a technique that diminishes the risk of errors and increases the reliability, optimizing the operation in time and money. It is in this area where Choucair has specialized itself, a company which was born in Medellín in 1999 and whose labor in part has been to evangelize local market in this topic.

"Software Testing is a practice within the process of software development, whose aim is to check the fulfillment of the specifications, to increase the confidence once the applications enter production", explains Maria Clara Choucair, General Manager and founder of the company.

The concept of software testing is not very common in the country. The tests are used to be done by users. Meanwhile, in The United States, the companies have departments of Software Testing.
